Some January

January has been so.cold! We’ve been doing lots of snuggling up inside and being thankful we have a fireplace. It doesn’t really do much to warm anything up, unless you’re like right in front of it, but it brings the coziness vibe up a notch or two. Legos have become cool again around here and we’ve completed a few projects with them pretty recently. Old and I have a great set-up; I set up all the legos in order from the direction book and he actually puts them all together. Every once in a while he’ll let me put a few on. Shea has been using his jumbo blocks to build “characters”. Little kids’ imaginations are absolutely amazing.

We’ve try to get outside time in there too. Our favorite way to do that is beach walks. We go to different ones often because while kids’ imaginations are wonderful their attention spans are almost non-existent. Montauk had super cool hermit crabs all over which made the fact that we all lost feeling in our hands ok and even helpful when one pinched Coley.

Cole also got his face mask in the whole braces process. I don’t know how long I will be able to handle it. 😉

Cole and Shea, I’m so glad to have you littles to make these January days warm. Xoxo
