The teen years

Well, Cole.turned.13. 13! Coley, it’s not always easy but it’s always worth it. Tween and teen years are tough to navigate. We’ve hit some bumps for sure but I am so proud of you! You are so smart. School is such an easy endeavor for you and appreciate how important it is to you to do well. I mean, we want you to of course, but you want those grades to be sparkly and strong and it’s wonderful. You excel and playing the saxophone and I can only imagine how wonderful you’d be if you actually practiced. 🤪 I loved spending the day with you. We went back to where it started, at your request, and wandered around the aquarium. You’ve loved that place forever. I think it’s so cute when you ask the workers questions about all the sea life. You love to learn and I love that. We had dinner with the family at hibachi and you had a party with your friends. A dinner at Union and then a sleepover with (too many) tween boys. I may still be catching up from sleep from that event! But I know you had fun. Coley, I am proud of you and love you so very much. Happy 13th birthday my love.

November also had a fun little Thanksgiving feast at school for Shea. They sang little songs and had a pretty good feast (catered!).

Thanksgiving at home was yummy as ever but apparently I took no photos. It’s a busy day after all. But it’s one of my favorites with the food and family and overall slow and relaxed pace. Collins introduced the family to LCR and that was quite the hit. I did win one round so I’m a fan too.
