Let’s think of this like a Christmas in April. Two of my favorite months!
I love love love the Christmas holiday time and we try to immerse ourselves in the tradition and spirit. But, my horrible attention span has really gotten the best of me lately and I failed to put those special memories up here… yet.
But here we are! April is as good a time as any for these Christmas memories 🎄❤️ PS- we only have 260 days til it’s Christmas again. 🤗
1- the Parade of Lights. Holiday season kick-off!
2- Gingerbread University. One of the greatest degrees we’ve achieved.
3- Christmas card photo shoot. We headed out around 11pm to get the quiet nighttime street. It was pretty comical but I think we got a good one in the end.
4- Bonac Lights.
5- Christmas tree shopping. Well, we found our tree in about 11 seconds so not too much time for pictures but it was a good tree.
6- Christmas Carol at Theater Three. We happened upon Father Christmas too!
7- Drive-through holiday lights. They discovered they can see them best through the sun roof this year. Ugh.
8- Mystic Lantern walk. We got to see the Mystic Santa, take a ride in a horse drawn carriage, and wander around Mystic while it’s all decorated.
9- Decorating the tree
10-Newport mansion tour. We’ve never done this before but it was so cool. The Breakers, the house itself is AMAZING but the Christmas decorations and lights outside and over the top. So pretty.
11- Santa! We know him. 🎅🏻
12- NYC. A trip like no other and cut short by a yucky situation but the start was awesome!
Bonus:
I said it before and I’ll say it again, those memories of all the places and things you are doing are priceless. The smiles say it all.
