No jacket January is what we called it over here. More like fall February… we’ve barely had a winter and for most of what it’s worth, it’s been so great! We have been able to be outside so much more than normal and have been able to keep the jackets nice and clean! But… snow is fun too! Even just one good snowfall so my cuties can play (ok ok and maybe we miss a day of school 😉 – it’s built into the calendar anyhow, why let it go to waste). We had to travel up north to get some winter and snow this year because we couldn’t just let it go by. There’s still hope though. For just a few pretty little snowflakes making our day cozy and the streets sparkly and quiet. When I was in the hospital having Shea, it snowed like crazy. That was March! So I’m not giving up the idea of the snowman building, snowball throwing, snow cone eating just yet!!
We’ve had some special days this winter. Cole was in a play for ISA (international Spanish academy) and a school wide spelling bee. Shea lost three teeth and is learning to read. We’ve done on some fun little trips and cute little dates. We had a visit from Aunt Allison all the way from California and the boys were so happy. It’s been a few years since we’ve seen her!
So, as February winds down and we start noticing the little buds popping through the ground, I’m keeping a little hope for a last chance with winter but mostly looking towards all the special days (so many birthdays!) that come with Spring!

All of the photos said 1000 words each, just fantastic!
