And somehow spring break was already two weeks ago. It sure was a nice week though! We bookended our break with Sonic 2 on day 1 (somebody in our house is a pretty big Sonic fan) and then Bad Guys on our last day before heading back to school and work. The 4 of us went to a Mets game. They lost. It was still fun … to watch them eat snacks and find all the things to do other than watch the Mets game.

Next up, Easter. This holiday is always our quietest. The boys had a cute little egg hunt and found almost all of them. I found one yesterday while we were out in the yard. (So glad it was a cascarone egg *the ones with confetti in them* and not one with candy. That would not have been pretty. )We tried a new egg dying technique. It came out just ok but it was kinda fun trying a new way and they were into it.

Then the boys and I headed to Legoland. I can’t say enough good things about this place. And they LOVED IT. It did hail and it was freezing but it will definitely be a place to visit again. We passed Collins on the bridge as we headed back onto the island and he headed to North Carolina to start his road-trip.

The rest of break was just relaxing. The boys did a yoga class and baseball lessons. We played, did some arts and crafts stuff, cleaned, chilled… It was just a really nice change of pace and a taste of summer that is on its way. We can not wait!
