We’ve been waiting for you! A bit different this year… very much so actually; I have to work a bit. Not my favorite part of the job for sure but it’s all good. The days aren’t long and there aren’t really that many of them… and now that the attempt at convincing myself is that is over… I’ll move on. 😎 We’ve dabbled in the summer things like ices, water slides, beach days, baseball games, parades, and visits from cousins. We were all excited that the parade was back and Cole got to ride on the Little League float once again. It’s a pretty good start to the summer. We nailed the 4th of July drink this year (last summer it was more of a purple combo drink but I researched my failure and voila!! I got it to separate this year for the red, white, and blue drink)! Cole went to a Mets game with Collins so I made one for him afterward since he missed the debut at the bbq that day. Sparklers are always a favorite part though my photo skills at cool sparkler pics are lacking. Maybe that’ll be my goal for next July 4 since I’m obviously a pro at the layered drink now. 😉 Summer, welcome, I’m so happy you’re here.
