Ahhh good old Valentine’s Day. Cole was adamant that HE was going to handle it this year… and he did!!! Using my gift card at one store and making me close my eyes as he swiped the items to pay for “my gifts” at another. Genius plan really!

He also insisted on making a scavenger hunt like I did last year so he set it all up the night before. He wrote little clues with a compliment on each paper and led me around to some cute and funny gifts including some beautiful flowers that accompanied some pretty flowers my dad got me too. Then we made pink breakfast.

I hung compliment hearts on either side of the stairs and they read them as they climbed up to get their basket. Shea makes me read them every time we are on the stairs still. Then we had pink lunch. 😬💕 we used edible flowers frozen into ice to really elevate our heart shaped sandwiches. 😂😂 A candy board, heart painting, and heart ravioli (also made pink) and that used up all the (natural!) pink dye and the day was a wrap. I think these little two gentlemen love the holidays too and embrace my “all-out” attitude for most holidays (especially if they fall on a weekend)! I’m happy about that for sure. It makes it so fun.
