Coley’s Communion

Last weekend, Coley made his Communion. It was supposed to be last May but… pandemic. It was rescheduled a few times and we finally got to do it last Saturday.

Cole was only allowed to have 6 people, including himself, to allow for proper social distancing. It was live-streamed on YouTube so family and friends could watch. Cole was beyond flattered by those of you that did. Video is here

It was nice; short and sweet, and everyone kept it together.

Afterward, we went to brunch at one of the sweet boy’s favorite places, The Hampton Maid. We had a yummy meal then came home to get changed, open his cards, and decide on the plan for the day; it was up to Coley.

We ended up going pumpkin picking and cruising around the North Fork (which is ALWAYS ok with me). Coke chose a pumpkin pie for his “Communion cake” and has been slowly making his way through it one piece (out of the freezer) at a time since no one else really likes pumpkin pie.

I am so very proud of the hard work, tine, and commitment Cole put into this event.

You did a wonderful job, Cole. 💙💛✝️
