Are we still even in this? I’m so confused. Is it still called quarantine and should I still be counting the weeks? Things are starting to open and all but we’re still staying away from humans so I’m just not even sure! I

So we have been doing most of our grocery pick-ups in Riverhead. Usually, my parents will meet us up there for a socially distanced lunch. The boys almost always convince my dad that ice cream is necessary too. Though I do not think he needs much convincing. 🍦
And my photos. I’d say that at least 50% of my feed is random pictures from these two!!
I only see them when I go to scroll through them for something… like these. Please know though, that there were approximately 23 of the very similar pictures.

Then the dog pictures come in.

So while still negotiating this is it/is it not quarantine, we’re trying to find things to get out but still alone. 😂😂
At the start of this this thing, I thought how cool (and successful!!) drive-in movies would be. And then they were here!! I surprised the littles with this. I got a ton of candy (noooo we did not eat it all. I was going for effect and selection 🤪), and took them to this pop-up drive-in movie. It was Babe and it was really a good time. We got take out dinner and they had no clue what we were doing til we got there! We already signed up for another one next week.

Father’s Day!! Cole made a special carrot cake for both Collins and my dad. I hate carrots so did not do the sampling but I heard it was really good and Cole really was excited to do it.
We also made a jell-o aquarium. We used some of the movie candy leftovers and created this little thing. They liked doing it and it was something to do. We did not eat it when we were done but you can. If that makes it more worth your while or whatever.

Ahhh the summer weather has arrived! We weren’t sure what the dog would do with a blow up pool so we brought out the littlest one first. She wasn’t interested at first. Then she pretty much took it over.
And beach!!! We’ve missed you!! It’s been cool so far because they are limiting passes for residents only so it’s been good! Totally enough space. So glad because it’s our happy place. One sad pet is our crabbing spot has been closed off to protect an endangered species (bird) and that was by far their favorite activity last summer. Hoping the bird does its thing in the next few weeks but I don’t m on how that all works.
And we did a cheers to the summer with a ginger shot. Cole saw it on a show and wanted to do it. It was ok.

And of course more projects. We did bird feeders ( both of them kept trying to eat the peanut butter but finally we got enough on the roll to move to the seed stage), color changing stuff… a few versions of that because it’s always a fan favorite.
We’ve been frequenting the farm stands to get the *good* berries. There’s nothing in the grocery store that compares.

And our walks. We do walks all over the place just trying to get this puppy to see what’s what and chillllll out. We have been mixing town into the mix when it’s not prime dinner time or whatever. It makes me laugh that they have their favorite routes that we have to follow. They take turns choosing.
They do some investigating too. They like to check on the fun places that are still closed, like the movies. Still closed little ones. Still closed.
Have a great week!

Cole is being a phenomenal big brother, you do need more pictures of the dog though.
All the animals.
It totally amazes me how many adventures the three of you have. Adventures and memories go hand in hand! Brotherly love💙💙
It’s fun!
