The end of February brought lots of stuff all packed into the shortest month!
🐶 Let’s start with the Summer girl. This little smoosh got spayed two weeks ago and it’s been a ride. Let’s say she’s not tolerant to medicine and we got to spend a lot of quality time together. A lot. She gets her stitches out this week and then hopefully it’s onward and upward from here.
❄️ A snowstorm during winter break too. I never mind those. It was a great reason to all snuggle up (mostly with Summer too), have a fire, read books, build stuff, and watch movies.
🦷Shea rocking his tooth brushing app. Cole and Shea got a toothbrush thing for Christmas. It goes with an app and they have to get “bad guys” while they brush and they won masks and things and he is obsessed with taking pictures of himself at the end.
Also, Cole lost three teeth in 5 days. The tooth fairy was in overtime!
🏥 Cole also had an incident in phys ed and ended up with a fractured wrist. He’s ok! And he thinks it’s super cool to have a blue cast.
💉 Collins and I both got both of our vaccines!
🎂 And Collins’ birthday. A big part of the day was driving to and from Queens for the second vaccine for me but, since we were out and about, we made it part of the celebration. We had PF Chang’s for lunch which he’d been wanting for awhile. My parents met us there and we parked next to eachother and had a side-by-side luncheon. Collins is the last of us to have a quarantine bday. Hopefully the last period. When we came home, I took the boys for haircuts (so needed) and he had some down time. Then dinner (beef Wellington- another meal he thinks about but we don’t do), dessert, and gifts before a super late bedtime for the 9 o’clock cake eating children.
🍀 Seems to me like February was much longer than 28 days! Heading into March tomorrow already planning for St.Patrick’s and Shea’s birthday.
