Can I tell you, I DO NOT think this little one could be cuter. He literally melts my heart! ššHe just brings such happiness to the most mundane things. The other day, we were driving, or sitting in traffic as most would call it, we moved the littlest bit and I heard this much needed ray of sunshine say, āwheeeeeā. Like, could anything change your mood quicker than that. Wheeee!
This is just the best age. Letās get the obvious out of the way, he is obsessed *did you say that with the stress that was intended? OB SESSED* with Paw Patrol. It is the actual first thing heāll talk about when he wakes up.
He is also into lots of made up games. Maybe youāve heard of Guess the Animal game. No? Well, every single time you get in the car, you take turns making animal sounds and the other player has to guess the animal. Think you could master this game? Think youād be a contender? Let me tell you, you are wrong! Unless you are well versed in the sounds of a dark purple lion, underwater sea horse (same neigh ā different horse), or maybe a baby girl deer looking for a snack. Ok, bud, you win.
Heās also absolutely wonderful at telling stories. Heās got an imagination that fiction writers would pay big money for.
Heās also the very best singer ever. Itās one of my favorite things to hear him singing his sweet little kid songs completely out of nowhere which makes me question and envy those little kid brains. Just the two of us are in the car most every day to and from sitters and itās the most special time because I get daily private concerts.
This little one has two speeds though. Full out ā I mean run around and around and around (get it??) the house or yard ORRRR asleep. There is literally no in between. And on that note, heād probably live outside if we let him. Even more specifically, heād live on a swing. I never met anyone who liked a swing more. And even cuter? You get the same cutest little voice telling you, āwheeeeā as you push him til your arms fall off. The little sound of wheee is pure fuel/ encouragement and you just keep on pushing. Wheeee.
It was a pretty warm weekend morning a week or so back and I needed a little break from the swing. I thought about a bike ride. Hassle⦠the bike was already hung on a hook⦠at the back of the garage⦠which was full of all the summer stuff. But then I thought for a second, next summer, this little peach will be too big (š¤§š) for me to ride with him on the back. Long story short (omg not really, have you spoken to me (??)!but the story nonetheless), we went on a bike ride. Wheeee.
His personality is just developing in the coolest way. He is a wonderful story teller, the best compliment giver, a photographer in the making, a purple shoe wearing, and hide-and-seeking bundle of absolute love. Shea, I am absolutely the luckiest to be able to say Iām your mama, you sweet little boy. š
