Summer and stuff

So the boys and I have been trying to enjoy summer but without other people really. It’s the strangest thing.

We do some little trips to local towns and walk or get take out or visit their “reasons for being”.

Westhampton for example. We were there for an hour maybe but it was a different walk on different streets and it was good for us. Of course we found the best ice cream store ever, Ben and Jerry’s, directly in front of where I parked.

Each year we visit Lavender by the Bay in East Marion because it’s just so pretty. They were closed and then they decided to open a second farm in Calverton AND release a limited number of tickets to then fields. Bonus: it smells pretty great too.

We’ve done a lot of beach days but try to go to the lesser known spots to cool down or go when it’s not prime time. We rode our bikes to one the other day and the puddles were so big that we had to get off and walk through them. Shea just took them as an extension of the bay.

I still just love watching this little one sleep. He’s so pretty to look at.

And this! This was an awesome surprise. Uncle AJ sent the boys this yummy Lou Malnati’s pizza. They were so surprised and so happy. Thanks dude!

Also did some more projects; the window boxes and window frames in general, the mantle, and the dome for the kids. Cole was such a big help!

And the walks. Gosh we are trying but it’s like when we get one thing down another fun puppy tricks. But… we walk. In town, to the beach, through the park… We also met Nana and Pop for some socially distanced frozen yogurt.

We’ve done two more drive in movies. I’m 99% sure their favorites part is the snacks.

The boys also have discovered a fun yoga channel and Collins has discovered a new hobby… Bob Ross paintings. I’m not joking. And he’s done a few. They are good! But Cole wanted to do one just he and I. It was quite an experience.

Summer. You are my favorite season.
